What is a credit?
A credit is our universal billing unit. 1 credit = ₹10, and buys 1,000 characters of text-to-speech or 1,000 seconds of speech-to-text. The same credit works across both Panini (TTS) and Vyasa (ASR), whether you use batch or streaming.
Can I use the same credits across TTS and ASR?
Yes. Credits are shared across all services, so your team can flex usage between text-to-speech and speech-to-text based on what you need that month.
What is the difference between batch and streaming?
Batch is for offline or queued processing where latency is not critical, like archives or long-form generation. Streaming is for real-time use cases like live transcription, voice agents, and conversational assistants.
What happens when I run out of monthly credits?
You can top up with additional credits at any time at the ₹10/credit pay-as-you-go rate, or upgrade to a higher tier for a better effective rate per credit.
Do unused monthly credits roll over?
On the Growth plan and above, unused credits roll over for one billing cycle, so you can commit to a plan even if your monthly usage fluctuates.
Do you offer custom or cloned voices?
Yes. Custom voices and fine-tuned models are available as an add-on on the Scale plan, and are included with Enterprise.
Is Somya built for Indic languages?
Yes. Somya is purpose-built for multilingual Indic voice, with production-grade performance across major Indian languages and dialects.
Do you support on-prem or private deployment?
